Today, 4th of May 2020 it's our 3rd birthday! So it is a good moment to share with you that we are working hard on a redesign of our website, with in a later phase the launch of a beta-version of our visual-contract-builder!

Legal Hackathon Madrid 2018

Last weekend, 17 - 19 November, Visual Contracts helped facilitate the Legal Hackaton of Instituto Innovación Legal in Madrid from a legal design perspective. It was an intense, fun and productive weekend with some great outcomes.

Visual Contracts is organising – together with a wonderful team – a one-day Legal Design Event at the Border Sessions Tech Culture Festival, the Design for Justice Lab. During the Lab, the participants will take part in a Legal Design journey, learn how to use Legal Design Thinking to improve their skills and are part of innovating the employment sector.

User friendly NDA

For AIRBUS Defense and Space and together with our colleague Legal Designer Astrid Kohlmeier, we redesigned and co-created a user friendly NDA for the collaboration on innovative projects with startups.

The Dutch interest group for parents in day care, better known as BOinK asked us to redesign their training material about Dutch law and regulation that addresses the daily functioning of child daycares.

Shiny Futures Project

In recent years there have been many projects and initiatives to help cleaners gain respect from the general public. Visual Contracts was asked to be part of one of these projects called The Shiny Future.

For Ketenpact Oost-Brabant we helped during a two day session to work on the challenge to reduce rework and unnecessary administrative load during a criminal law procedure to reduce lead times in those procedures.

FB Privacy statement

In 2015 Lieke won the The Hague Innovators prize together with lawyer Janneke Boerman. They developed a new concept of the privacy statement of Facebook as a case study to explore new ways of creating accessible, understanding and engaging legal documents.
